The Mental Health Legal Centre has a clinic to assist consumers with
applications for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
The DSP Clinic can help consumers to understand and apply for the DSP by:
-
Advising on the eligibility requirements for the DSP;
-
Helping to fill in application forms and lodge them with Centrelink;
-
Supporting consumers to obtain medical and other evidence;
-
Applying for reviews of DSP rejections with a Centrelink Authorised Review Officer (ARO) in some circumstances; and
-
Appealing DSP rejections to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) in some circumstances.
Referrals can be made by emailing
ndis.dsp@mhlc.org.au
or by calling us on
(03) 9629 4422.
Consumers can also contact us directly to get help with the DSP.
